HLA 66 battery long-reach hedge trimmer: Comfortable working with a high level of freedom of movement

For tall hedges, shrubs and bushes, the STIHL HLA 66 is a lightweight battery long-reach hedge trimmer for efficient cutting. Professionals in gardening and landscaping, local authorities or caretakers can use it to comfortably cut even ground-level plants. You can carry out maintenance work quickly, even in a domestic environment.

Thanks to the high-quality EC engine, the double-sided cutting blades accelerate very quickly, resulting in a clean cutting pattern. It runs so quietly that you can even work in noise-sensitive areas such as residential neighbourhoods.

The cutter bar can be adjusted by up to 115° (-45° to +70°). This allows you to fold the adjustable cutter bar parallel to the shaft for easy transport. The control handle is particularly ergonomically designed and is suitable for right-handed and left-handed users. The control handle also has a self-resetting locking lever. The HLA 66 cordless long-reach hedge trimmer is equipped with a loop handle so that you are as mobile as possible even in narrow spaces.

All battery power tools within the STIHL AP system have been designed for professional users and daily work, even in adverse weather conditions. For this reason, they are certified as splashproof. CONSTANT POWER

CONSTANT POWER, REGARDLESS OF BATTERY CHARGE STATUS. With other brands of battery tools, the performance usually decreases during work as the battery discharges. EXCELLENT POWER TOOL BALANCE

REDUCES WORKING FATIGUE. Thanks to the battery’s optimal centre of gravity, this power tool has a low tilting torque which supports fatigue-free working.

INTUITIVE OPERATION

EASY STARTING. To start the power tool, all you need to do is release the lock using the locking switch. The power tool can then be started using the trigger. The additional ERGO lever enables continuous work without having to restart. The self-resetting locking switch prevents accidental activation of the power tool. Operation is suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users.

DOUBLE-SIDED CUTTING BLADE

FOR OPTIMAL HEDGE CUTTING. The double-sided cutting blade facilitates optimum hedge cutting: vertically, horizontally and in corners. Thanks to the double-sided cutting blades, you can effectively trim or prune your hedge – even those thicker branches.

BLADE SCABBARD

FOR SAFE TRANSPORT AND PROTECTED STORAGE. Transport and store your hedge trimmer and shrub shears safely and securely with the tailor-made blade scabbard.

TIP PROTECTOR

PREVENTS DAMAGE. The tip protector prevents damage to the blades. The tip protector also makes it easier to cut close to the ground or along walls.

QUICK-RELEASE ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM

ENABLES COMFORTABLE AND EFFECTIVE WORK. You can work flexibly and comfortably with the rapid adjustment system of your long-reach hedge trimmer. The cutter bar can be adjusted to different angles depending on the application. For safe and compact transport, fold the cutter bar parallel to the shaft until it engages automatically.
